I was looking online and couldn't find any information on the recruitment out of the Investment Management Workshop. Is this workshop known for putting people in reputable firms?

Kelley introvert
Hi all,
I was recently admitted to Kelley as a direct admit as well as the Hutton honors college. I also received the Dean's Scholarship for 11k.
I am very intrigued by this offer and Kelley is likely going to be the highest ranked b-school I get into. However, I am worried about the culture at IU. I have heard that social life there is frat-dominated. I don't have a problem with frats, but I am more on the introverted side and don't drink very much and would definitely be a GDI. Would I survive at IU and are there others like me? In addition, is there a best place for me to live? I have the option of the Kelley LLC, Hutton, or (since I will be 19) likely Willkie South.
Thanks

Facebook page for Parents of accepted Students
Hi all, does IU Bloomington have a parents Facebook page for accepted students?
My son was accepted at IU and we are out of state. I really don't know much about IU. I have another son who attends Penn State and they have a private Facebook page for parents. The guidance I've gotten from other parents has been invaluable.
Does anyone know if a page like that exists for IU Parents? Thanks!

weighted gpa vs unweighted gpa
I've looked through IU's websites and I know Kelley looks at the highest gpa sent on the transcript, but is this the same for general admission or other schools within the uni?? My high school sends the weighted gpa on transcripts, so would that get recalculated at all? I'm mostly concerned because I have a couple C's, but they're in higher level classes, so while my weighted is really good (3.7-8) my unweighted is like a 3.1/3.0...

Kelley School Double Majoring??
Can you double major in Kelley and is it nearly impossible or somewhat doable? Anybody with experience would be appreciated. I am considering majoring in both Finance and Economic Consulting.
I have already taken M118 (Finite), M119 (Calculus), W131 (Writing), L202 (Literature), S200 (Spanish), W100 (Intro Business), and a psychology class at my local IU campus (+ AP credits in Euro, USH, Gov, Bio, Chem) so those credits will all transfer if that makes it easier to double major.
Thanks!

When should I hear back? Class of 2022
So I sent in my Indiana Bloomington Kelley School application in and it was received on 11/5/17. A lot of other people I know who have sent in their application around that time have already gotten in, and the majority of them have lower scores/GPA then me (if that matters for timing). I thought you heard back in 2-3 weeks so I am a little confused. Do they release decisions on a certain day of the week each week? When should I expect to hear back?

What are my chances of getting into Kelley?
I got into IU and recieved my acceptance email on the 1st of Januray. I submitted my petition for Kelley Direct Admit before the 1st of December. What are my chances of getting into Kelley's Direct Admit program.
My stats are -
GPA - 3.95
SAT - 1350
I'm short of 40 points for the Direct Admit Admission.

Kelley Applying Regular Decision. How screwed am I?
Hi
I'm a high school senior applying to the Kelley School of business regular decision. I didn't apply Early so I know I'm screwed. I'm Out of State too.
I have a 1540/3.76(11APS) so I don't qualify for direct admission so I'll need to petition?
I'm pretty sure I missed all of the good scholarships too.
Can someone tell me if Kelley with a good scholarship is still possible? I was accepted to UMich OOS and want a backup in case I don't get Ross.
Thanks!

Red Carpet Days
Hi--trying to decide if it is worth the drive to Indiana to attend a red carpet day. We attended a Discover IU day last March and I cannot tell what would be different with this event than the one we already went to. Thanks in advance for your help, Ilisa

Selective Scholarship Application
I am an out of state student who was recently admitted to IU- Bloomington. I was not invited to complete the selective scholarship application and I am wondering if anyone knows the requirements to receive the application. I have a 31 on my act, a 4.06 gpa, and a wide variety of extracurricular activities including Student Council President. Please let me know what I needed to be able to recieve a selective scholarship application and if I am able to contact the scholarship office to re-evaluate me. Thanks!

IU or Purdue for accounting?
Hello, I have been admitted to both IU and Purdue, and am having an extremely hard time deciding on where to go. I know Kelley is held in very high regard as far as accounting goes, but I was not direct admitted and have not heard back about my petition. If I go to Purdue I do not have to apply to get into their business school, so I wa wondering which school would be the wisest choice for me.

Direct Admission for Kelley
I saw a lot of questions on here about Kelley direct admit and the timeline. I received an email from Kelley about a week ago notifying me I was accepted via Direct Admit and just received my letter in the mail today! Hope the best for all of you guys! Please post here if you were also accepted! IU was one of my safety schools but of course Kelley is one of the top undergrad b-schools in the country so I'm super hyped about this.

Indiana Business School App
I am going to be applying to IU Bloomington this upcoming fall/summer and I think I have a good shot at the school. My concern would be the business school. Kelley is a competitive program, so I would not be eligible for direct admissions freshman year to the business program. However, at the end of freshman year, I would be able to apply to Kelley as a standard admit, but I need to keep my GPA above a 3.5 for my freshman year. With the average coursework for a business undergrad freshman, how possible is this goal? I am willing to work very hard to get into the program, but I do not want to be completely overloaded with studying. If I did not get into the program through standard admit, I would not be able to get a degree from the Kelley School, therefore I would have to transfer schools or switch majors. I currently have a 4.1 weighted GPA as a high school junior and a SAT score of 1210.
Thank you.

IU Kelley vs UMD Smith - Thoughts?
Hi,
I'll be posting this in the UMD discussion thread too. What are your guys' thoughts on IU Kelley vs UMD Smith?
Here's some background
IU Kelley:
- Direct Admit
-$11k Dean's Scholarship (applying for more)
UMD Smith:
- In state
- Did not get into business school, got spring admission so would have to do freshman connection
Both are fantastic schools but I worry about if IU is worth it. Even after scholarship, it's still $11k more expensive ($37k vs $26k). I am also applying to SSA but it isn't a guarantee I'll get more money. With UMD, I didn't get into Smith and although I think I would get standard admit (I am extremely business oriented with practical business application majority of students don't have), I'm not sure.
After college, I'd like to live in the D.C. - Maryland area. I am most likely majoring in some combination of entrepreneurship/corporate innovation, marketing, and information systems.
Please give me thoughts on what I should do - thank you!!

Picking My Neighborhood
I'm having trouble deciding on a neighborhood so any help/experience is appreciated.
I will be in Kelley, want to balance school/fun, and want AC. I am leaning against South.
