I'm a rising sophomore this fall and just yesterday I got accepted into Kelley through standard admission. I hope that this post can help anyone looking to take the dreaded standard admission route.
To provide some context, I'm a white male out of state student that had maybe a 3.4 GPA at a fairly competitive high school and a 27 ACT.
1st Semester:
BUS A-100: W
POLS-Y 105 (Intro to Political Theory): B-
Finite: B
EDUC-U207 (Leadership Training): A
Econ 201: B+
Spanish 250: A-
2nd Semester:
Compass: A
Business Presentations: A-
Spanish 280: A-
BUS K-201: A
M119: A
BUS A-100: B+
GPA: 3.56
Even with two pretty significant blemishes I was lucky enough to get accepted. I hope that any other standard admits are hearing back soon with good news. I'd be happy to answer any questions that incoming standard admit freshman might have.
